The implementation of the RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) technology started on June 23, 2016.
The first phase of the project is placing RFID tags in books.
RFID will make borrowing more user-friendly, efficient and secure. By the same token, it will take off a large burden off staff who will become more available for answering your questions and for providing help with your research. Inconvenience involved should be minimal. The introduction of the RFID technology is a part of a larger library redevelopment project aimed at redefining and enhancing the quality of our services.
